Weston House school was built on the site of Gregorys Western House, I think grandad gardened for him, handy cos he only had to hop over his back fence. I went to Weston House school in 1951? when it was new, I remember a pelican with directions painted on its outstretched wings, did no one save it?
Of course when they got the new school down Windsor Meadows (we played down there as kids, it was called 9 acres) they let vandals burn old(?) school down so they could build yet more houses on the site!
