For the first time in living memory, Cippenham village pond has almost completely dried up. The pond is connected to the stream that runs underground from Brook Path to the Millstream Lane brook. A few weeks ago we published on our concerns that the brook in Millstream Lane was similarly almost completely dry.

We don’t know whether this is connected to climate change, or some other factor such as an increase in the amount of water extracted from the artesian basin by the water company.
